Bill Hines officiating. Interment was at Many Cemetery. Religious services were at Rabenhorst East Chapel, at 10 a.m., officiated by Rev. Kelly Fitzgerald. Mr. Tompkins passed away Friday, July 12, at the Guest House Nursing Home. He was a native of Fisher, retired President of Sabine State Bank in Many, with 67 years of service, a member and Deacon of the First Baptist Church of Many, and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Many. He is survived by three sons, Victor and wife Katie Tompkins of Baton Rouge, Norman and wife Carolyn Tompkins of Gainesville, Tex., Ronald and wife Denise Tompkins of Boston, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Ball of Little Rock, Ark.; daughter-in-law, Sandra Tompkins of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby McFerrin Tompkins; son, Stanley Tompkins; and six brothers and sisters. Memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity.
