Mrs. Alma Thompson

  Mrs. Alma Thompson, 78, of Beaumont, Tex., died June 9, after an
extended illness.

  Funeral services were in the Progress Presbyterian Church, June
11. Burial was in the Springridge Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Surviving relatives include two sons, A. P. Thompson of
Beaumont, Tex., and Aubrey Thompson of Victoria, Tex.; two
sisters, Mrs. W. D. Gates of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. E. D.
Sistrunk of Lake Charles; one brother, J. A. Britt of Pleasant
Hill; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Clyde Blankenship, Henry Gewin, Marion Gewin,
Duffy Pattison, Vernice Dyess, and Sam Arnold.
