Mrs. Luna Faye Thompson

  The Tuesday night death of Mrs. Luna Faye Thompson, 69, of the
Spring Ridge Community, has been ruled suicide by Dr. Richard
Oosta, Sabine Parish Coroner.

  Her husband, Raymond Thompson, came home about 9:45, and found
her dead. She had been shot with a .38 pistol. He called Mrs. R.
D. Knott, who reported it to Pleasant Hill Marshal Otho Gregory.
Thompson also called a neighbor, Mrs. Phillips, to the house.

  Gregory reported the incident to the Sabine Parish Sheriff's
Dept., and Deputies Elwin Patterson, and Floyd Terrell
investigated. Lt. Alfice Brumley of the Sheriff's Dept., and
Gregory finished the investigation Wednesday morning.
