Mrs. Gertrude Tompkins

  Funeral services for Mrs. Gertrude Tompkins, 86, who passed away
Sept. 6, were conducted at the Warren Funeral Home Chapel at 10
a.m., Sept. 8, with Rev. M. L. Boland officiating. Interment was
in Munnerlyn Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Funeral Home.

  Survivors are sons, Lane, and Cue Tompkins, both of Vivian;
daughters, Mrs. Nellie Clark, and Mrs. Moe Townsend, both of
Zavalia, Texas, Mrs. Edna Oakerson of Zwolle, Mrs. Annie Keen of
Shreveport, Mrs. Allie Law of Vivian; 28 grandchildren; and
numerous great grandchildren.
