Thomas is survived by his widow, Mrs. Vera Thomas of Zwolle; six sons, Cecil Ray Thomas of Many, Oscar Thomas of Florida, Jack Thomas, and Bennie Thomas, both of Houston, James Thomas, and Lee Earnest Thomas, both of Nacogdoches, Tex.; a brother, Willie M. Thomas of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Ida M. Duncan of Shelbyville, Tex., and Mrs. Lavern Wilburn of Houston; 16 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, April 8, at 2 p.m., at the Aimwell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bob Miller, and the Rev. Charles Duncan. Burial was in the Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
