Eugene D. Thomas

  Eugene D. Thomas, 66, of Coushatta, died Saturday, in a
Coushatta hospital, after a lengthy illness.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Monday, in the Chapel of
Rockett-Nettles funeral Home. Burial was in Ramah Cemetery.

  Survivors include two sons, Bill D. Thomas of Bossier City, and
William E. Thomas of Wisconsin; one daughter, Mrs. Bobby L.
Coleman of Arabia; two stepsons, G. L. Martinez of Zwolle, and
Earl Martinez of Rayville; six stepdaughters, Mrs. Leidell
Walker, and Mrs. Roy Loftin, both of Coushatta, Mrs. George Rush,
and Mrs. Floyd Kennington, both of Shreveport, Mrs. Clara
Barnhill of Many, and Mrs. Marvin Walker of Ashland; one brother,
Bill Slaten of Many; 39 grandchildren, and a number of great
grandchildren.
