Maude Bush Thomas

  Mrs. Maude Bush Thomas, 68, died in Many on Friday, Aug. 15, at
1:05 a.m., following an extended illness.

  Survivors include one son, S. J. Plummer of Oregon; five
brothers, Gilbert Bush, and T. J. Bush of Many, Earnest Bush, and
Edgar Bush, both of Houston, Tex., and Owen Bush of Houma; one
sister, Mrs. John Moran of Many; two stepsons, Clenard Thomas of
Many, and W. F. Thomas Jr. of Florien; two grandchildren; 8 step
grandchildren; and 6 step great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Oak Hill Baptist Church on
Sunday, Aug. 17, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Brent Fleming
officiating. Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
