Vera Lee Thomas

  Vera Lee Thomas, 73, of Zwolle, died in the DeSoto General
Hospital, at 5:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 25, following an extended
illness.

  Survivors include six sons, Bennie Thomas of Houston, Tex.,
Cecil Thomas of Many, Charles Thomas of Chireno, Tex., Oscar
Thomas of Zwolle, James Thomas of Woden, Tex., and Lee Thomas of
Stone Mountain, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Lela Armstreet of Tex.,
Mrs. Beulah Hughes of Center, Tex., and Mrs. Florence Duncan of
Shelbyville, Tex.; 17 grandchildren, and eight great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Aimwell Baptist Church,
Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m., with Rev. Charles Duncan, and
Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial followed in the Aimwell
Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Greg Quillin, James Ray Ballard, David Thomas,
Bobby Thomas, Scott Thomas, and Allen Thomas.
