Vera Lea Thomas

  Mrs. Vera Lea Thomas, 73, of Zwolle, died in the DeSoto General
Hospital, at 5:30 a.m., on Monday, Feb. 25, following an extended
illness.

  Survivors include six sons, Bennie Thomas of Houston, Tex.,
Cecil Thomas of Many, Charles Thomas of Chrene, Tex., Oscar
Thomas of Zwolle, James Thomas of Woden, Tex., and Lee Thomas of
Stoney Mountain, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Lela Armstrong of
Texas, Mrs. Beulah Hughes of Center, Tex.; and Mrs. Forence
Dungan of Shelbyville, Tex.; 17 grandchildren; and 8 great
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Aimwell Baptist Church on
Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Charles Duncan, and
the Rev. H. H. Tibbitts officiating. Burial followed in the
Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.
