All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Lillie Lou Thomas Mrs. Lillie Lou Thomas, 86, of Hornbeck, died in the Fraser Hospital North, Friday, June 5, at 9:30 a.m., after an extended illness. Surviving relatives are one son, Louis C. Thomas of Port Neches, Tex.; one daughter, Evelie Holley of Hornbeck; three brothers, O. B. Campbell of Many, Elisha Campbell, and Thomas Campbell, both of Marthaville; three sisters, Mary Lee Veuleman of Marthaville, Opal Crow of Nederland, Tex., and Lillian Crain of Yazoo City, Miss.; six grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, Sunday, June 7, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Aubrey Veuleman, and the Rev. Benny Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were W. E. Hayes, Larry Campbell, Truitt Veuleman, Carson Campbell, Jerry Baxter, Albert Crow, Jewel Berry, and Troy Sandel.
