Maurice Bill Thames

  Mr. Maurice Bill Thames of Noble, died Tuesday, August 2, 1983,
at 7:38 a.m., at the Sabine Medical Center in Many, at the age of
64, following a short illness.

  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, August 4, at
the Noble Baptist Church, with interment following at the Noble
Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Schumaker will officiate. Services are under
the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Thames is survived by his wife, Ida Bell Thames of Noble;
one son, Maurice L. Thames, Converse; one sister, June Neal
Engleheart, New Orleans; one brother, Jep C., Thames, Noble;
three granddaughters; two step grandchildren; six great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
