Willie M. Thomas

  Funeral services were held Monday, May 30, 1983, at 2 p.m., for
Mr. Willie M. Thomas of Many. Services were held at Aimwell
Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles Duncan, and Rev. Jimmy Lilly of
Houston, Tex., officiating. Burial followed at Aimwell Cemetery.
Arrangements were made under the direction of Warren Meadows
Funeral Home.

  Mr. Thomas died Friday, May 27, at 7 p.m., at DeSoto General
Hospital in Mansfield, after a sudden illness. He was 78.

  He is survived by one son, Larry Thomas of Many; three
daughters, Mary Pipps of Baton Rouge, Fan Allegretto of Concord,
Calif., Sarah Morris of Shreveport; two sisters, Ida Duncan of
Shelbyville, Tex., LaVern Wilbrun of Houston, Tex.; 8
grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
