Oscar Allen Thomas

  Funeral services for Mr. Oscar Allen Thomas, 63, were held at 4
p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1996, in the Aimwell Baptist Church in
Zwolle. The Revs. Steve Neesley, Vernon Stephenson, Jerry
Penfield, and Charles Duncan officiated. Burial followed in the
Aimwell Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Thomas died Sunday, Feb. 11, at Summitt Institute in Bossier
City.

  Survivors include his wife, Barbara Thomas of Zwolle; three
daughters, Sharon Winkle, Debra Martinez (husband David), and
Cynthia Aaron (husband Calvin), all of Zwolle; four brothers,
Bennie Thomas of Zwolle, Cecil Thomas of Many, Charles Thomas of
Chireno, Texas, and Lee Thomas of Stone Mountain, Ga.

  He is also survived by five grandchildren, Lamar Aaron, D. J.
Martinez, Daniel Martinez, Randy Aaron, and Tyler Winkle; and a
host of nieces and nephews.

  Pallbearers were Allen Thomas, Eddy Cates, Jerry Grant, Robert
Frisby, Dennis Martinez, Rick Martinez, Gilbert Aaron, and Bobby
Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were R. L. Maxey, and Ed Ferris.
