Clifford Paul Thomas

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct 27, at 2:30 p.m., in
the First Baptist Church in Covington, for Clifford Paul Thomas,
50, of Covington. He died Sunday, Oct. 24, after a long illness.

  Burial, under the direction of Schoen Funeral Home of Covington,
was in the Garden of the Pines Cemetery.

  Mr. Thomas was a native of Sabine Parish, but had lived most of
his life in South Louisiana.

  Mr. Thomas is survived by his father and step mother, Mr. and
Mrs. W. F. Thomas Sr. of Many; two brothers, W. F. Jr. of
Florien, and Clienard of Grand Isle; one sister, Mrs. Raymond
Self of Port Arthur, Texas; and three daughters, Helen Rae of
Dallas, Tex., Bonnie Jean of Virginia, and Susan Ellen of
Covington; and one granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn of Virginia.
