  The earthly life of little Virgil Ray Tynes Jr., 5, came to an
end, Wednesday, May 12, at 3:35 at Willis Knighton Memorial
Hospital in Shreveport.

  The lad had been losing his battle with deadly leukemia for the
past several months.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, at 2:30 p.m., from
Rose-Neath Chapel in Shreveport. Burial was in Forest Park
Cemetery.

  Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Kathy, and Connie; a
brother, Gary Wayne, all of Many; and his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Tynes of Marshall, Tex., and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Holt of
Shreveport.
