Mrs. George Thomson

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 14, in the Zwolle
Methodist Church, for Mrs. George Thomson, 72, of Zwolle, who
died Monday, Sept. 12, in Zwolle. Officiating at the services
were Elder J. C. Culpepper, and Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald. Burial was
in the Antioch Cemetery, in San Augustine, Tex., under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors are her husband, George Thomson of Zwolle; one son,
Dr. George Thomson of Zwolle; five daughters, Mrs. Louise Brooks
of Honolulu, Hawaii, Mrs. Lucille Ross of Murray, Kentucky, Mrs.
Linda Jones of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. Julia Snyder of Berrien
Springs, Mich., and Mrs. Helen Emerson of Los Angeles, Calif.;
three sisters, Miss Lavon Alsberge of Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs.
Lillian Nigosian of Akron, Ohio, and Mrs. Mary Vern Bales of
Silsbee, Tex.; one brother, Gary Emerson of Houston, Tex.; eleven
grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
