  Roger Randolph Thomason Sr. of Florien, died on March 3, at St.
Patrick Hospital in Lake Charles. He was 69.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 5, at 2 p.m., in the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bobby Shirley
officiated, with burial following in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in
Florien.

  Mr. Thomason was born on Feb. 14, 1934, in Leesville, to Hazel
Goins Thomason and Woodrow Wilson Thomason. His parents preceded
him in death.

  Survivors include four sons, Roger Thomason Jr., Perry Thomason,
and Raymond Thomason, all of Moss Bluff, and Kerry Thomason of
Westlake; one sister, Linda Gail Kirk and husband Joe of Florien;
one brother, Jerry Glen Thomason and wife Beverly of Reeves; 14
grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
