Mrs. C. B. Tanner

  Mrs. C. B. Tanner, 60, of Mansfield, died Thursday, March 7, in
a Converse Hospital, following a brief illness.

  Funeral services were Friday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m., in the
Drewett Memorial chapel, with the Rev. Alvin Strother
officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jack Tanner. Burial was in the
Pelican Cemetery.

  Survivors include her husband; a son, Timothy Mayes Tanner of
Converse; a daughter, Mrs. F. E. Nolan of Port Arthur, Tex.; two
brothers, Truman Mayes of Port Neches, Tex., and Kenneth Mayes of
Converse; two sisters, Mrs. W. J. Allen of Lake Charles, and Mrs.
L. E. McCullough of Mansfield.
