James Tanner

  James Richard Tanner, 59, of Converse, died Monday, Sept. 26.

  Services were at 3 p.m., Tuesday, in the Midway Baptist Church,
with the Rev. William Campbell, and Richard May officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Drewett Funeral Home,
Mansfield, was in charge.

  Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy McWilliams
of Shreveport; one son, Ray Tanner of Converse; two sisters, Mrs.
Eleanor West of Converse, and Mrs. Loua Mullins of Guntown, Miss.
