Teer Funeral services for Mrs. Mellie B. Teer, 82, of Robeline, was held Thursday, Oct. 10, at 2 p.m., in the Robeline Baptist Church, with the Revs. P. S. Hightower, Glenn Flenniken, and Mike Cooper officiating. Burial was in the Robeline Cemetery, under the direction of Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home. Mrs. Teer died at 12:40 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Willis-Knighton Hospital in Shreveport. She was a native of Kisatchie, and a member of Robeline Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Watson Teer of Robeline, and Glen Teer of Hemphill, Tex. Another son, Johnnie D. Teer, Jr., is deceased. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Wingate of Houston, Texas, Mrs. Lynn Ducote of Alexandria, and Mrs. Gwen Vincent of Shreveport; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Miller of Alexandria, and Mrs. Mable Tibbitt of Marthaville; one brother, Oscar Brown of Shreveport; and 14 grandchildren.
