Mr. Spencer Allen Tarpley (Photo)

  Mr. Spencer Allen Tarpley, 92, of Many, died Tuesday, July 10,
2001, at Natchitoches Parish Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., July 13, at Oak Hill
Baptist Church, with interment following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. E. E. Walker, and the Rev. Wilton Anthony officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Juanita Tarpley of Many; three
sons, Spencer Allen Tarpley and wife Wilma of Brucken, Germany,
Earl W. "Sam" Tarpley and wife Christine of Walkerville, and
Malcolm Dean Tarpley and wife Reba of Many; one daughter, Patsy
Sue Brown and husband Harold of Whitney, Texas; 12 grandchildren;
19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and
friends.

  Pallbearers were Darrell Tarpley, Jeff Tarpley, Alan Masters,
Grant Tarpley, Gene Brown, Jurgen Tarpley, David Wilde, and Buddy
Veuleman Jr.
