Mrs. Cage Atkins Tarver

  Graveside services for Mrs. Cage Atkins Tarver, 94, of Ruston,
were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, at Greenwood Cemetery in
Ruston. Dr. Joe Blair officiated. Plans are under the direction
of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.

  Mrs. Tarver, a former resident of Shreveport, died Thursday,
April 2, 1987, at Alpine Nursing Home in Ruston, after a short
illness. She was a native of Pleasant Hill, and a former resident
of Shreveport, where she was a member of the Broadmoor Baptist
Church.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank H. Tarver, Sr.,
and a son, Frank H. Tarver, Jr.

  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James E. Stevenson of
Blytheville, Ark.; one son, James A. Tarver of Ruston; a sister,
Mrs. Oakley Provost of Mansfield; six grandchildren; and ten
great grandchildren.

  Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Monroe,
La.
