Mr. Danny Ted Truss

  Services for Mr. Danny Ted Truss, 36, were held at 10 a.m.,
Thursday, July 4, at Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Officiating
was the Rev. William Campbell. Burial was held in Sardis Cemetery
near Converse.

  Mr. Truss died Monday, July 1, at DeSoto General Hospital. He
was born in Zwolle, La.

  He is survived by his mother, Mable Shaw Truss of Converse, La.;
one sister, Charles Truss Myers; one nephew, Glenn Kernagan; one
niece, Jamie Myers Wade; one great niece, Ashley Kernagan; one
great nephew, Justin Wade; four uncles, Rev. Lloyd Shaw, Odis
Shaw, Tullos Shaw, and Hubert Shaw; and a host of other
relatives.

  Pallbearers were Clayton Shaw, Charles Shaw, Dwayne Shaw, Dale
Shaw, Wayne Shaw, Paul Shaw, and Kelly Strickland.
