Newton Bernard Troquille

  Funeral services for Newton Bernard Troquille, 55, of Many, were
held Saturday, Dec. 7, 1996, at 2 p.m., at St. Margaret Catholic
Church. Officiating was father Bernard Zagst. Interment was at
Gorum Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Mr. Troquille died Friday, Dec. 6, at Sabine Medical Center. He
was preceded in death by his parents, James and Annie Troquille;
a sister; and a brother.

  Mr. Troquille is survived by his wife, Julia Troquille of Many;
three daughters, Patricia Couvillion, also of Many, Donna Mims of
Natchitoches, and Kimberly Troquille of Many; three stepchildren,
Kevin Rains, Bryan Rains, and Rodney Rains, all of Many; two
sisters, Desiree Parrie of Zwolle, Catherine Holt of Pasadena,
Texas; one brother, Kevin Troquille of Many; mother of his
children, Patricia Troquille of Many; a special grandson, Brandon
Troquille of Many; and three other grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Freddie Grappe, Clint Shilling, Bob Nichols,
Arland Troquille, David Rachal, and Craig Jones.
