Richard Lee Tarkenton

  Final services for Mr. Richard Lee Tarkenton of Many, were held
Tuesday, December 27, at 2 p.m., in the Warren Meadows Funeral
Home Chapel, under their direction. Interment was in the Merritt
Mountain Cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth West officiated.

  Mr. Tarkenton, 51, died Thursday, December 22, 1983, in the
Veterans Administration Hospital in Shreveport.

  He is survived by his wife, Ann Crane Tarkenton; two sons, Gene
Wigger, Houston, Tex., and Keith Wigger, Guam; two daughters,
Lisa Overman, and Lori Tarkenton, both of Lubbock, Tex.; two
brothers, Mick Tarkenton, Fort Worth, Tex., and Don Tarkenton,
Denver, Colo.; one sister, Annette Brown, Fort Worth, Tex.; and
three grandsons.
