Bobby Jean Thorton

  Bobby Jean Thorton, 40, of Houston, Tex., died Tuesday, Sept.,
18, at 4 p.m., in a Houston hospital.

  Services will be held Friday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m., in the
Brookside Funeral Chapel. She was a native of Sabine Parish.

  Survivors include her husband, Jim Thorton of Houston; one
daughter, Sandra Dean of Houston, Tex.; and son, Larry Dean, also
of Houston, Tex.; one step son, Mark Thorton, also of Houston,
Tex.; four sisters, Zelma Weathersby, Margie Heffby, and Faye
Burkett, all of Houston, and Nila Crow of Los Vegas, Nev.; and
four brothers, L. J. Sims, Bill Arville, Wiley Ray, and Bobby Joe
Sims, all of Houston.
