George Washington Terrell

  Funeral services for George Washington Terrell, 83, of Belmont,
were held Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1995, at Springridge Baptist Church,
with the Rev. Benny Isgitt officiating. Mr. Terrell died Sunday,
Oct. 29, 1995, at the North Sabine Nursing Center in Pleasant
Hill, and was buried at the Springridge Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Marie Terrell; three daughters,
Wanda Cooper and her husband Vic of Lake Charles, Billye Pilcher
and her husband Carl of Pleasant Hill, and Sherry Haire and her
husband Dale of Pleasant Hill; one brother, Floyd Lee Terrell Sr.
of Pleasant Hill; four grandchildren, Donna Dupont, Pam McGee,
Carla Paddie, and Brad Walker; five great grandchildren, Jeremy,
David, Savannah, Erica, and Dillion; and a host of nieces and
nephews.

  Mr. Terrell was preceded in death by a sister, Dewdrop Terrell;
and three brothers, Thomas Wister Terrell, Troy Woodrow Terrell,
and David Solomon Terrell.

  Pallbearers were Roy Bridges, John Brock, Derrell Cassell, Drew
Lewing, Curtis Niette, Guffey Pattison, Bob Terrell, and Kenneth
Terrell.
