Richardson Stuart Trimble

  Services for Richardson Stuart Trimble, 52, of Converse, were
held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, at Fellowship Baptist Church
near Converse. The Rev. H. Ray Jenkins, former pastor, and the
Rev. Daryl Staggs, pastor, officiated. Burial was at the Oak
Grove Cemetery near Converse, under the direction of Rose-Neath
Mansfield Chapel.

  Mr. Trimble died on Saturday, May 26, following an accident. He
was born in Plain Dealing, and had been a resident of Sabine
Parish for 19 years. He was the Agriculture teacher at Pleasant
Hill High School. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist
Church.

  Survivors include his widow, Martha Trimble of Converse; his
mother, Mildred C. Peterson of Santa Ynez, Calif.; two sons, Tony
Cates of Stonewall, and Dennis Cates of Converse; one daughter,
Leah Trimble of Converse; one sister, Elsie Craft of Monroe; one
brother, Chris Trimble of Hoboken, N.J.; two grandchildren,
Anthony Seth Cates of Stonewall, and Theresa Racine Cates of
Converse.

  Pallbearers were his close friends.
