The Rev. H. Ray Jenkins, former pastor, and the Rev. Daryl Staggs, pastor, officiated. Burial was at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Converse, under the direction of Rose-Neath Mansfield Chapel. Mr. Trimble died on Saturday, May 26, following an accident. He was born in Plain Dealing, and had been a resident of Sabine Parish for 19 years. He was the Agriculture teacher at Pleasant Hill High School. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors include his widow, Martha Trimble of Converse; his mother, Mildred C. Peterson of Santa Ynez, Calif.; two sons, Tony Cates of Stonewall, and Dennis Cates of Converse; one daughter, Leah Trimble of Converse; one sister, Elsie Craft of Monroe; one brother, Chris Trimble of Hoboken, N.J.; two grandchildren, Anthony Seth Cates of Stonewall, and Theresa Racine Cates of Converse. Pallbearers were his close friends.
