Mrs. Wenona Margie Thornton

  Services for Mrs. Wenona Margie Thornton, 72, of Mansfield, were
held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, in Rose-Neath's
Mansfield Chapel. Pastor Benny Anglin officiated. Interment
followed in Highland Cemetery.

  Mrs. Thornton died Sunday, Feb. 6, at DeSoto General Hospital.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Truman Thornton.

  Mrs. Thornton is survived by her son, Alan (Toddy) Lewis of
Noble; daughter, Betty Louise Davis of Dover, N. H.; sister, Mary
Pizonci of St. Louis, Mo.; brothers, John Henry Permenter of
Lufkin, Tex., Harold (Mickey) Permenter of Joaquin, Tex., Bobby
Joe Permenter of Tyler, Tex.; six grandchildren; and 11 great
grandchildren.
