Mrs. Janie Merlyn Tramel

  Mrs. Janie Merlyn Tramel, 62, of Many, passed away at her
residence, from an extended illness. She died at 11:31 a.m., on
Friday, June 14, 1985.

  Services for Mrs. Tramel were at the Bethsadia Baptist Church on
Sunday, June 16, at 2 p.m. Rev. Presley Marcantel, and Rev. Allen
Miller officiated. Interment was in the Bethsadia Cemetery.

  She is survived by three sons, Mason Cannon, Jr. of Many, Eddie
L. Cannon of Tyler, Texas, James Henry Tramel, Jr. of Many; two
daughters, Mrs. Nannette Ebarb of Ebarb, and Mrs. Jo Ann Rains of
Many; two brothers, Mr. Jim Counts of Shreveport, and Mr. Ray Lee
Counts of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Tessie Bridges of
Many, and Mrs. Faye Wiley of Shreveport; 15 grandchildren; and
one great grandchild.
