John Junior Turnley

  Funeral services for John Junior Turnley, 78, were held at 10
a.m., August 25, 1992, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, with the
Rev. Kenneth Leach, and Rev. David Hippler officiating. Interment
followed at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mr. Turnley died August 23, 1992, at VA Hospital in Shreveport.

  He is survived by two sons, James Turnley of Dayton, Texas, and
Kenny Turnley of Provencal; two daughters, Margie Nanez of Many,
and Georgia Castillo of Zwolle; two sisters, Rosie Britt of
Negreet, and Maybelle Walker of Many; one brother, Sidney
Turnley; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Margeat Turnley.

  Pallbearers were Marlin Britt, Howard Turnley, Ken Zacharias,
Charles Turnley, Huey Britt, and David Meshell.

  Honorary pallbearers were Dwain Turnley, Joey Castillo, and
James Marvin Turnley Jr.
