The Sabine Index - August 31, 1988

  Earl Thomas Tramel

  Mr. Earl Thomas Tramel, a former native of Many, La., died
August 11, 1988 at Willis Knighton Hospital in Shreveport after a
lengthy illness. He lived in Shreveport for 18 years. He was 72
years old.

  Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Rose
Neath South Funeral Home in Shreveport. The burial was at
Bethsadia Cemetery in Many.

  Mr. Tramel was the son of the late James Wyatt and Cora Bell
Tramel of Many.

  Survivors include one sister, Eula Mae Davis of Shreveport, one
niece Elais McGraw and one nephew, Benny Cooper of Shreveport;
two great nieces. Renee Stroud and Jan Cooper of Shreveport; two
great nephews, Doug McGraw and Steven Cooper of Shreveport; two
great great nieces and two great great nephews, all of
Shreveport.

  Pallbearers were nephews and great nephews.
