Turner Funeral services were held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at 10:30 a.m., for Mrs. W. E. Turner, 55, of Blanchard, in the chapel of McGuire Funeral Home of Vivian, with Rev. James Eppinette, pastor of Northwood Baptist Church officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery near Many. A native of Many and a Blanchard resident for the past year, Mrs. Turner died Tuesday, in Schumpert Hospital, following a short illness. Survivors include her husband; a son, James Turner of Blanchard; a daughter, Mrs. B. R. Guin of Blanchard; four brothers, A. G. Walden of Zwolle, and Albert Walden, C. T. Walden, and Otis Walden, all of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Selma Tatum of Shreveport, and Mrs. Minnie Dew of Hornbeck, and five grandchildren.
