Mrs. Turner was a native of Belmont. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m., Dec. 29, at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, with interment following at Springridge Cemetery in Pleasant Hill. The Rev. Lee Perkins officiated. Survivors include her husband, Bob E. Turner of Waskom, Texas; three daughters, Wendy Adkison and husband Jim, and Jennifer Lee and husband John C., all of Shreveport, and Chandra Dechiro and husband Jon of Austin, Texas; son, Clay Turner of Waskom, Texas; two granddaughters, Ashley Moody, and Jaden Lee; father, Olcie Nash; three sisters, Frances Eaves, Mary Farmer, and Lenora Sepulvado and husband Tim; and brother, Freddie Nash and wife Brenda, all of Elmont. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Willis-Knighton Cancer Center, and Hospital for the compassion and support. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her mother, Aleane McGaha Nash; and sister, Melba Louise Nash. Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Shreveport, La.
