Reata Free Utz

  Services for Mrs. Reata Free Utz, 51, were held Monday, April
15, at 2 p.m., in Jennings Chapel Methodist Church in
Marthaville. Interment followed at Jennings Chapel Church
Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel.
Officiating was Rev. Foster Jennings.

  Mrs. Utz died Saturday, April 13, at LSU Medical Center in
Shreveport. She was born in Pelican, May 3, 1939, and was a
member of the National Tax Services Association, and a member of
the Jennings Chapel Methodist Church in Marthaville.

  Survivors include her husband, John Utz; one son, John Utz Jr.;
one daughter, Reata Gail Utz, all of Frierson; three sisters,
Virgie Lee of Frierson, Claudia Bacque of Keithville, and Hazel
Franklin of Frierson; three brothers, T. J. Free of Shreveport,
Edward Lee Free of Keithville, and Michael Roy Free of
Keithville.
