Sidney E. Underwood

  Sidney E. Underwood, 75, died in Mansfield on Wednesday, Jan.
28, at 6 p.m., following a short illness.

  Survivors include two brothers, T. W. Underwood of Florien, and
Ivy C. Underwood of Leesville; one sister, Estelle Belle
Underwood of Mansfield; and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held in the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Friday, Jan. 30, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Homer Fondren officiated.

  Pallbearers were Welton Underwood, Hoye Gene Underwood, John L.
Wright, Charles Underwood, Murrl Hathorn, and Wayne Turner.

  Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
