Theoder Welton Underwood

  Mr. Theoder Welton Underwood, 82, of Florien, died on Jan. 2,
1987, at 10:30 p.m., in Many, after an extended illness.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel, on Sunday, Jan. 4,
at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Kenneth Leach, and Rev. Brooks Coburn
officiating. Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by one son, Welton Underwood of Many; four
daughters, Barbara Marshall of Leonard, Tex.; Norma Buchanan of
Anacoco, Marcell Ferguson of Port Neches, Tex., and Melva
Longoria of Many; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
