Mrs. Beckie Byrd Vogel

  Funeral services for Mrs. Beckie Byrd Vogel, 97, were held at 10
a.m., Sunday, March 2, 1997, at Warren Meadows Funeral Home
Chapel.

  The Rev. T. Michael Crist officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant
Hill Cemetery.

  Mrs. Vogel died Friday, Feb. 28, 1997, at Hardtner Medical
Center, Uranta.

  She is survived by two sons, Herman Vogel of Ragley, and
Marshall Leroy Vogel of Georgetown, and Linda Faye McDaniel of
Shreveport; one sister, Pauline Moore of Hornbeck; one brother,
Arthur Byrd of Little Flock; six grandchildren; six great
grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
