Robert William Vaughn

  Robert William Vaughn, 20, of Dallas, Tex., died in his
residence Saturday, Jan. 19, at 1 p.m., following an extended
illness.

  He was a student at the University of Texas.

  Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Vaughn of
Dallas; a stepbrother, Ted Vaughn; his grandmother, Mrs.
Catherine Williams of Shreveport, formerly of Many; and an uncle,
Sid L. Williams of Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, at the
Restland Funeral Home in Dallas.

  Graveside services were conducted at the Many Cemetery, at 2
p.m., Monday, Jan. 21, under the direction of the Warren Meadows
Funeral Home. Dr. Rod Smith, pastor of the First Baptist Church
of Many, conducted the local services.

  The young man was laid to rest in the family plot.
