Mrs. Tessie Winn Vickers

  Mrs. Tessie Winn Vickers, 82, of Pineville died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999 at Willis
Knighton in Shreveport.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m.. Thursday, Dec. 22 in the Chapel of Hixson
brothers in Pineville with burial following in Central Cemetery in Robeline. Dr. Gary
Baldwin officiated.

  Mrs. Vickers was a member of First Baptist Church in Pineville where she taught Sunday
School for many years. Mrs. Vickers was a graduate of Louisiana Normal College which is
now Northwestern State University and was an active member of PEO and KKI chapters of
Alexandria. She was a teacher for 23 years at State Industrial School for Girls in Ball.

  Survivors include her husband, James Larry Vickers Sr. of Pineville; two sons, James
Larry Vickers Jr. of Shreveport and Randy Vickers of Shreveport; one brother, John Winn
of Merryville; and two grandchildren.
