Thomas Cobbs Vickers

  Thomas Cobbs Vickers, 68, of Converse, died Monday, Dec. 15, at
his home, following a brief illness.

  Mr. Vickers is survived by his wife, Dora May Vickers, Converse;
three sons, Donnie Vickers, Troy, N. C., Gary Vickers, Lake
Jackson, Tx., Felix Vickers, Nashville, Tenn., one brother, H. F.
Vickers, Converse; three sisters, Sally Bell Landrum, Mangham;
Fannie May Trichel, Monroe, and Maxine Crockette, West Monroe;
two grandsons, one granddaughter, one great granddaughter, and
numerous nieces and nephews.

  Services, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home,
were held at the Midway Baptist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 17,
with William Campbell officiating. Graveside services were held
at 4 p.m., at the Lone Cherry Cemetery.
