  Mildred Hendricks Vickers, 84, of Many, died at her residence
Saturday, June 29, 2002.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., July 2, at Oak Hill
Baptist Church, with interment following at Oak Hill Cemetery.
The Rev. E. E. Walker officiated.

  Survivors include her daughter, Linda Tonn and husband James of
Macon, Ga.; sister, Camille Minton of Longview, Texas; grandsons,
Jason Tonn of Charleston, S. C., and Ethan Tonn and wife Misti of
Macon, Ga.; granddaughter, Ashley Tonn of Macon, Ga.; close
relative, Sandra Brupbacher of New Orleans; and a host of nephews
and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jewel
Murphy Vickers.
