All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Mable Vidler Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m., in the First Baptist Church, for Mrs. Mable Vidler, 69, who passed away at a hospital in Fresno, California, Tuesday, March 12, 1963, with Dr. Kelly Fitzgerald officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, with Warren Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Melvin Murphy, Felton Murphy, Page Wagley, Michael Slay, Jack Methvin, and W. H. Pearce. Mrs. Vidler, formerly of Sabine Parish, lived with her daughter, Mrs. Fred Ellis in Saenger, California. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Fred Ellis of Calif., Mrs. E. K. Odom, Shreveport; two sons, Ferman of Shreveport, and Loy of Logansport; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. R. S. Salter, Hornbeck, Mrs. Steve Westbrook, Many, Mrs. F. J. Pines, El Dorado, Ark., Mrs. D. D. Thedford, Mrs. George Sirmon, Logansport, Mrs. Fred Wagley, Mrs. Arthur Wagley; and two brothers, Dan Slay, and Alvin Slay of Shreveport.
