All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Julia Nell Veuleman Mrs. Julia Nell Veuleman, 70, of Zwolle, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000, at Christus Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Veuleman was born in Pleasant Hill. She retired from the Quality Stamp Store in Many, where she worked as a sales clerk. Mrs. Veuleman was one of the first organizers of the "Just Say No To Drugs" organization in Sabine Parish. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 6, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Many, with interment following at Fender Cemetery in Many. The Rev. Raymond Sewell, former pastor of Bethel Fellowship Assembly of God Church in Many, officiated. The Rev. Mark Elliott, pastor of Bethel Fellowship Assembly of God Church, and the Rev. Cyle Clayton, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, assisted. Survivors include her husband, Lamar Veuleman of Zwolle; three sons, John Veuleman and wife Malva, of Zwolle, Jared Veuleman and wife Tracy of Zwolle, and Stacy Veuleman and wife Gayla of Many; six sisters, Blanche Behan of Mansfield, Helen Roberts of Livingston, Texas, Joyce Tieman of Tulsa, Okla., Arlene Smith of Converse, Madeline Muenzenberger of LaCrosse, Wis., and Jewel Ward of Benton; two brothers, David Anderson of Shreveport, and Bennice Anderson of New Orleans; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
