Kate Elizabeth Veuleman

  Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Elizabeth Veuleman, 96, were held
at Warren Meadows Chapel, on Sunday, April 12, at 3 p.m. Rev.
Gary Boswell officiated. Interment followed in Cedar Grove
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Veuleman died Friday, April 10, at Lexington House in
Alexandria.

  She is survived by two daughters, Mattie Walker of Alexandria,
and Margaret Wardlow of Montgomery; one son, Wilford Veuleman of
St. Martinville; three brothers, Henry Withers of Houston, Texas,
Willard Withers of Robeline, and Jesse Withers of Natchitoches;
eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and one
great-great grandchild.

  Pallbearers were Ken Hale, Brian Walker, John Veuleman, Jimmy
Ray Anders, Willy Hayes, and Mack Melton.
