Those surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kate Veuleman of Robeline; three daughters, Mrs. Floyd Latham of Converse, Mrs. Otha Savell of Robeline, and Mrs. Lavern Savell of Many; one brother, Hamp Veuleman of Robeline; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie French of Robeline, and Mrs. Izona Davis of Many; 16 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 7, in the Ft. Jesup Church, with the Rev. Ray Penfield, the Rev. Earl Marr, and the Rev. Travis McCullough officiating. Interment was in the Ft. Jesup Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Ernest Mitchell, Ray Mitchell, Evie Stoker, Crawford Mitchell, Ivy Veuleman, and Tom Smith.
