The services were held in Cedar Grove Baptist Church, with the Rev. Oliver Roberts, and Rev. Helmeth Cremwedge officiating. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, with Warren Meadows Funeral Home in charge. Survivors are three sons, Monroe Jr. of DeRidder, Johnny of Montgomery, and Truman Veuleman of Houston; six daughters, Mrs. C. B. Adams, Mrs. Lee Calhoun, both of DeRidder, Mrs. Ruth Varwig of Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Odessa Mason, and Mrs. Mary Clark, both of Houston, Mrs. A. T. Colston of Robeline; four brothers, Noah, Frank, and Hamp Veuleman, all of Robeline, Joe Veuleman of Many; two sisters, Mrs. Cap Davis of Many, and Mrs. Elsie French of Robeline; 26 grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Rev. Percy Tibbitts, Lester Veuleman, Clinton Foshee, Ivy Veuleman, Junior Solice, John Lemar.
