Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Daisy VanVeckhoven of Anacoco; two sons, Ted. I. VanVeckhoven of Lake Charles, and William R. VanVeckhoven of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Darnell of Lake Charles; two stepsons, Buster Plummer of Porter, Tex., and Johnny Plummer of Anacoco; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Carrie Ruth Pruitt of Fisher, and Mrs. Ima Lou Cavanaugh of Frierson; two brothers, Dora VanVeckhoven, and Victor VanVechoven, both of Florien; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Nelms of Hornbeck, and Mrs. Vilona Marcus of Pineville; one half sister, Mrs. Rosie Roberson of Robeline; 21 grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Services were held Friday, at 2 p.m., in Crystal Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Graham, and Rev. Harold Arnold officiating. Burial was in the Mitchell Cemetery, under direction of Hixson Funeral Home, Leesville.
