Alma Rita Bossier Van Veckhoven (Photo)

  Funeral services for Alma Rita Bossier Van Veckhoven, 80, of
Florien, were held Thursday, Oct. 24, 1996, at 2 p.m., at Warren
Meadows Chapel. Officiating was Rev. Lee Dickson, Rev. Jimmie
Evans, and Rev. Doug Chance. Interment was at Fort Jesup
Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Mrs. Van Veckhoven passed away Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Integrated
Health Services of Many No. 2.

  She is survived by her husband, Victor Van Veckhoven of Florien;
one son, Jackie M. Small and wife Linda of Houston, Tex.; one
daughter, Edna Cantrell and husband David of Baytown, Tex.; three
stepdaughters, Nelda Talley and husband Rick of Franklin, Ohio,
Faye Norsworthy and husband Wayne of Natchitoches, and Barbara
Dickson and husband Lee, also of Natchitoches; one sister, Wilda
Massey of Converse; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were William Holcomb, Cecil Ricks Jr., Howard
Colston, Joe Holcomb, Merwyn Watkins, and Gordon Anthony.
