Eugene Vines Sr.

  Eugene Vines Sr., 72, of Converse, died Friday, Jan. 23.

  Funeral services were at 2 p.m., Sunday, in San Patricio Baptist
Church. Burial was in Cassel Cemetery.

  Survivors are his widow; six sons, Eugene Vines, Jr., Lee Roy
Vines, and Virgil Vines, all of Fort Worth, Tex., Jerry Vines of
Zwolle, James Vines, and Thomas Vines of Converse; one step-son
Norman Adams of Grants, N. M.; six daughters, Mrs. Laverne Waits,
Katherine Sullivan, and Mrs. Charlotte Hogue, all of Fort Worth,
Tex., Mrs. Gloria Parker, and Mrs. Dorothy Wilkerson, both of
Converse, and Mrs. Barbara Wilkerson of Shreveport; one
step-daughter, Mrs. Hazel King of Fort Worth, Tex.; one sister,
Mrs. Beulah Moore of Orange, Tex., one half-sister, Mrs. Swrena
Sanderson of Zwolle.
